Oh my gosh is she ever cute! Is her leg over the harness? Never mind, I see what happened now. She slid over and the crotch strap is off to one side. That's weird. I've never had that happen. The crotch strap doesn't look 'that' long to me either. It's not up on her belly like if it was an Evenflo with a longer crotch strap. Does it happen all the time? I personally wouldn't like the harness to be positioned like that.

Are you over tightening? I could see how if you tightened the harness too much the harness could be pulling down on her shoulders and she is sliding sideways to get more comfortable. I would loosen the harness just a bit and see if it still passes the pinch test. The harness should lay flat on her body, but not squish down on her shoulders or anything.

I think she was actually too loose, I got get a little tighter and hasn't happened again, I like this buckle better because the other one was so low that the lower harness was marking her legs, but hasn't happened again

Yes, too loose would be a possibility as well. It didn't appear loose in the picture, which is why I thought maybe it was too tight. I hope you've got it fixed now!

What I am wondering is if there is a body pillow/infant insert you could put back in? My DD does this in the SureRide without the body pillow. I just assumed it was because she had some room on the sides to shift back and forth to.

It's a continuous harness so maybe it's tightening on one hip more than the other when you pull on the adjuster? Play with those hips straps a bit and see if that helps.

I don't think the body support is allow as far as I know, but if it happens again I will just put the old harness back

You could still stuff a small blanket/burp cloth beside her hips after she's buckled. Is it reclined properly?
