5 step or not quitw?

Does DS get his wish? He is 9 (10 on the 27th) just under 5 feet tall (I'm 5'6 and he is taller than my shoulders) and I'm not sure of his weight. This is in the 8th seat in a 2015 odyssey. He is all the way back and his feet touch the ground. I know for sure that he does not 5 step I'm the captains seat and he is super close in the 3rd row.

It's easier to judge in person. What part are you unsure about? He looks like he gets pretty good fit to me.

I guess the shoulder belt. Or maybe I'm just hoping someone's says no cause I'm not ready for him to be booster less. Lol.

I think he looks passable but I'm guessing that he would still look better in a low/discreet booster like a harmony youth booster or incognito.

The 10yo my DD babysits for has 5 stepped in the plus one since about 7yo. That little seat has great belt fit for kids.

Make sure you raise the head restraint to eye level though.

I'd use an incognito. My daughter is about the same size and still using an incognito.

My 7 yr old passes in the plus one now. I think he looks good for that seat other than the headrest.
