Diono Olympia/Pacifica ?

I've been thinking of picking one of these up since my 2.5 yo son been fighting so hard to get into his Boulevard. He'll be starting preschool soon, so he's going to be in the car a ton more. I don't think I have the energy to fight getting him in his seat daily. I put him in his backup Guide 65 and it was like night and day. I don't want to deal with that seat on a daily basis though.

Are the Olympia and Pacifica still easy loading with the higher sides? Do they still feel open? I was looking at the R100. He doesn't need the higher weight requirements of the other seats. Also, what's the fabric like? My son is a super sweaty kid and we live in south FL.

I feel like they are still open and easy to climb in and out. The deep part is up by the shoulders. The seat part is similar to the R100. I'm not as sure about the fabric because I haven't had it in extreme heat yet but so far it's been ok.

I actually have the shadow one. I had a really hard time picking because I thought Shadow would be easier but was afraid the fabric would be an awful nylon material but read somewhere that it was better to prevent stains. It might be nylon, but the fabric doesn't have the awful texture that I was afraid of. It does breathe (& can absorb spilled water) so probably isn't as bad as you're imagining.

I ordered online so I haven't seen the other fabric choices in real life so I'm not sure what would be best in the heat.
