Chevrolet 3500HD Crew Cab - three across

I'm just curious. My dad will probably buy a new Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Crew Cab next year. Are there any child restraint related issues in the back seat? It looks nice and wide (lol... 60" of rear hip room is pretty generous) and I see at least two full sets of LATCH in the picture. It does look like the middle seat doesn't have a head rest (grr!), which could be an issue at some point. Does the center rear seat have a top tether anchor?

By the time he gets it I'll have two FF harnessed 4yos and one 6.5yo that could go either FF harness in a Britax combo or be in a HBB. The two FF harnessed will be able to be harnessed for a very long time.

I ask because they will definitely be taking all three of my kids camping :)

My '05 had three dedicated TAs, but I believe they have since changed to the loop system. My only real complaint was the lack of headrest in the center. I used to (fairly regularly) have various combos:
Pass-Cntr-Drvr
---
HBB-Rfing-Ffing
HBB-Ffing-Ffing
HBB-LBB-Ffing
HBB-Ffing-HBB

For reference, the seats in rotation were a P70, PS, Ave, Maestro, TF, Performance Booster, Harmony Folding Booster, Harmony Youth Booster, and NextFit. At least half of those are decidedly NOT narrow seats. ;)

The center and driver's side buckles were adjacent, so I preferred having my booster rider on the passenger side to avoid confusion/accidental unbuckling. HTH
