Motorhome Safety, 8 year old

We recently bought a motorhome and I don't feel that my 8 year old is adequately protected. He is still in a booster seat in our regular vehicles.
Which is best of 3 options, please:
- lap belt, forward facing at dinette table (height of table won't allow for booster)
- lap belt, facing inside (perpendicular to forward) on sofa &/or single captain's chair (could use booster but again, only lap belts)
- lap & too-high shoulder belt in front passenger seat with booster
All options feel unsafe :/

Hi-
Unfortunately, there's really no safe place to ride in a motor home. The safest seat for a child is the front passenger seat, but then you still have the risk of a ton of projectiles behind the child. Given that you also have poor belt fit there, it doesn't seem like you have any seats that would even be marginally safe for your child.
