I have a seat that is manufactured date is 2012/04/16. What would the expiration date be? Is it good for 10 years as I would like to double check but this is what the chart on the transportation page on the government of canada's website said.

Correct, it is good for ten years. You should find an expiry date in raised lettering on the underside of the seat - sometimes hard to see but if you scratch for it with your nails you can usually find it. Alternately you could phone Graco for confirmation
