should i import a car seat?

Hi there, thank you for all the fantastic information on your blog....I live in south Africa. We have extremely unsafe roads and so I want an extremely safe rear facing car seat which has passed or would be likely to pass the Swedish plus test. My child is currently 10months old. None of the seats which have passed the plus test are available here. Could you recommend one that is available here or would you recommend importing one from Sweden(I see that car seat.se ship to Sa)?

I would contact Adventuredad here. He owns carseat.se and exports Swedish seats all over. If I were going to buy a foreign seat, I would purchase from him
