Current model CRV rear-passenger restriction

Did I read the CRV's gone the same way as the RAV4 and limited back seat passengers to 2 at a time? Anyone have the manual excerpt about it if I'm remembering right? TIA :)

If you use center lower anchors/UAS you can't have a passenger in the overlapping seat. That's the only one I recall for the CRV.

I can't look at the manual on my phone so can someone clarify this for me? I'm guessing what you are saying is that if LATCH is used center someone can't sit outboard?

I was thinking of adding the CRV and RAV4 to our list of cars to consider but maybe not.....

I can't either but the LATCH Manual notes if you use the offset lower anchors in center you cannot seat anyone in the overlapped seat.

The RAV 4 has overlapping belts. It's really a 4 seater with five belts.

Can you use the seatbelt instead?
