Britax anti-rebound bar

I bought a Boulevard with a 2013 DOM (G4?). RF tethering is mandatory and I thought I could order the anti-rebound bar for FREE.

Well, I wrote to Britax CS and they replied by giving me the link to purchase the bar on their website. Its $20 plus shipping, which will surely be expensive. I'm really pissed, since I thought they were free...

Should they provide it for free?

If it is a G4 for sure (with mandatory rf tethering it would be) then yes, it should be free. See their FAQ point number 15. http://www.britax.ca/support/faq/infantchild-seats

Are you sure it is a G4? I have one of the first off the line G4s and it is a Dec 12/13 manufacturing date.

Yep, it is. It has the new safecells, the new wording for RF and FF beltpaths and the mandatory RF tethering.

I guess I will have to call. I used their online CS, since last time they sent my order to the wrong address...

I would definitely call. I wonder if you got someone used to the US policies. In the US the ARBs are not free, they do have to pay but they are free here in Canada for G4s.
