Advocate harness not loosening

I pull to loosen the harness and it often doesn't. This is not appreciated. :)

Any tips? It's from 2011. It's RF middle row of our van.
Also, it's so deep in the sides my toddler can barely get in/out.

Wondering what better low profile options there might be...(she is 95% height though and almost 2).

I was looking into the new 50 lb. RF seat, potentially.
The Advocate won't work for us FF either someday, as it's too wide. So for FF I'd certainly need something else anyway.

We have a new Sure Ride, too, in the basement (my son has a new one we use in the back, too). 2011 Odyssey middle seat? Not sure if it works as have not tried it.

The Sureride will not work RF there. The feet slip off the seat (or into the cracks, I'm guessing, if it's not in wide mode) - they are too far apart.

What about the clones? (Graco MySize, Size4me, Fit4me, Contender and I think one more name) 40lbs RFing limit and my 5.5 fit by height at 47" RFing (but way over the weight limit at 55lbs, lol). No standing height, just one inch of shell.

ETA: I find the sides to be about half way between a Radian and the Sureride

OK, so Sure Ride is out. RF for sure, sounds like. FF, too?

I know my Radian gets a bad install RF and FF there. FF latch was fine, but she'd be over 40 lbs. then and need seatbelt anyway.

I will check out the clones if they have an advantage over the new Safety First seat coming out. Otherwise, I might want to wait for that as it's a 50 lb. limit and supposed to be awesome for RF...if it fits my seat that is!

Then I have a Kiddyworld booster for her between the ages of 5 and 7. Amazingly it has a generous expiration so I am keeping it. Perfect fit in that middle seat, and it's hard to find that.

The Foonf works there and maybe the Fllo does too. Although I had slight tipping with LATCH, I haven't tried seatbelt as I just moved her to a captains chair. And as big a seat that it is, it has remarkably low sides compared to her MA70.

The new Safety 1st 50-lb seat is enormous. I don't know how it compares to the Advocate, but it's NOT small, so keep that in mind if space is an issue.

Space is no issue front to back BUT it's a very narrow seat, so the base has to be narrow.

And I like to see so don't really want something that sits up high.

I'd try something first and see, of course, then go from there.

I guess all things considered our Advocate works for now...but eager to change things up for the various reasons I listed. :)
