Which booster?

DS1 is starting to show an interest in booster training. He's 5.5, and I'm guessing a booster will be strongly encouraged for kindergarten drop off in the fall.

I'm looking at the Affix, SGL, and Performance Booster. He's big and has a very long torso--5T and 4/5 shirts fit him great in the shoulders but just about show his belly button. He's somewhere in the 45-50 pound range. I'm planning to have it in a captain's chair in a Mazda 5. Does the Affix fall apart like the TB when you pick it up? Anything else I should be considering?

Chicco Kid Fit. I swear I should just buy one, instead of trying to live vicariously through everyone else by making them buy these, lol. The butt pad is so.freakin.cushy!
Diono Monterey is coming back, too, not sure if it has any changes, I know the LATCH was kind of pesky on older models, but that was the only complaint I ever heard about it, it's a super nice seat.

Oh, yes, I understand the color limitations. :D.
Oddly, I didn't plan it, but like my last 5+ seats were red and black. Not that they looked at all good in my light blue and gray van... lol!

We love our performance booster in the captain of our mazda 5, but it is very very difficult for DD to buckle with the rigid stalks. I still do it 95% of the time because I rarely have time in the mornings for her to struggle with it. That would be my only complaint.
