Radian premiere and radian questions

I am looking into getting the radian premiere in the super cool material. Now I have an odd question but hopefully it makes sense. Can you take the infant support pillows from the premier and use them in the regular radian? For example IF we have a second and I want to get another radian could I get the less expensive (although I would save to get the super cool. LOL) seat and then take the infant pillows from the premiere and put them into the less expensive one. I really hope that makes sense!

I'm sure you could. We've had both (we returned the regular Radian because of fit-to-car issues, but ended up with a Premier months later.) The comfort pillows are just attached with velcro and tucked into place. Since there's no structural difference between the two seats, the pillows should work with either.

We got the SuperCool too! (it snags easily though :()

Yes, you sure can. The regular radian manual also includes instructions on how to use the pillows if your seat comes with them. They're a manufacturer approved aftermarket product in the case of seats that didn't come with them meaning we know the seat still meets standards with them.

what do you mean snags?
I think Jenn was one that had the supercool too and she loves it, if I remember correctly or at all. LOL

Hi all,

I'm actually considering the Radian for my 9 months old baby that is about to move out of the Snugride.

My question is that if the 65 and 80 are the same, why one is listed as 65 lb weight limit versus the other one 80 lb limit?

Thanks.

They are the same dimensions, but not necessarily the same structurally. Most kids will outgrow them by height before even reaching the 65 lb weight limit. Unless your child is heavy for his age or you really want one of the 80 covers, you might as well get the 65.
