I was hoping someone could recommend a good, reasonable cost seat (maybe $200 max?) for DS2.
We are replacing after a collision and the insurer will cover up to about $200ish. His current seat was a Safety First Alpha Omega and right now he is at it's limits (shoulders even with top slot). He's FF and when he moves to a booster we will buy a seperate booster (probably a Graco Turbo HBB, like DD and DS1 ride in). He will be five in a month and is ready for a booster, and has riden in his siblings' before. Belt fit is excellent and he sits correctly and stays that way.
He weighs about 52 lbs and wears a size 6 shirt. We'd like the new seat to be one that can rear face as long as possible as baby #4 is due any day now and this seat would be passed onto baby within a year. Our kids tend to be pretty tall.
I heard some good things about the Evenflo Sureride, is there anything else to consider? Thanks! We would likely order from TRU online.
