Kid Coddler?

So I need to switch my almost 7 YO to a no back booster, we recently had our 3rd baby and it's almost impossible to buckle him (even for me and my husband) in his Vivo with 3 across. He still falls asleep in the car so I'm trying to figure out a way to keep him from slumping.

I looked at the Cardiff booster seat head rest, but it doesn't have great reviews and it's pretty pricey. Then I cam across the Kid Coddler, which is more affordable, but I can't really find reviews on it. It seems to be a pillow thing that buckles to the head rest, vs all of those pillows I see and know are unsafe, that attach to the seatbelt.

Any opinions?

These have been around for so so so long, the kid I know who's mom got him one is now in 8th grade.... but anyway...(taking off old lady glasses...) yeah, depends on seat geometry, it worked pretty well for him, I think. See if there're Cardiffs in Swap. I know I got mine on Zulily for $34 so they can be found for less from time to time.
Vivo is such a pain in three across, you might even consider a seat with higher armrests (Parkway/AMP) or no armrests (Rodifix) as a last resort if no sleep supporter things work.

We have an amp in DH's car and apparently my Kia Sorento isn't as wide as his thunderbird which surprised me lol. I tried it in my car and it doesn't sit flat against the back of te seat, it's too wide and touches the door.

I'll check here for a Cardiff but if I can't find one I think I may try the kid coddler. My son can sometimes fall asleep on the short ride home from school, lol, so we need something.
