Question Tacoma 3 across - after the infant seat - Canada

2006 Tacoma Double Cab

7 years/50lbs - Graco Affix, Britax Parkway SGL
2.5 years/30lbs - Radian Olympia, Classic Marathon (expiring soon), Graco Nautilus
6 months/14-ish lbs (skinny but long!) - Graco Snugride 30

We were able to get a good fit 3 across with booster + RF Radian + Snugride but we are looking ahead to when the littlest outgrows the Snugride. I've tried the Radian FF and it is a terrible fit so we will move baby to it RF when she outgrows the Snugride. But what to put the 2.5 year old in? Probably FF, he will be nearing 3 when we switch over. Something with a higher base to puzzle in over the booster and Radian? The Tacoma has quite an angle on the base of the seat, it it hard to get a good FF fit. I never liked the Nautilus in there (plus it is too wide). Really the classic Marathon was idealfor installation but I don't think the new ones have that narrow base anymore.

Suggestions? The nearest stores that let you test seats out are about 40 minutes away so I'd like to go in knowing what I want to try out.

I'm really not familiar with that truck other than to know that the seat is quite sloped as you mentioned. Are the seat belt buckle stalks flexible? or are they rigid and forward-leaning?

Have you searched elsewhere on this forum for threads with the same vehicle?

The buckle stalks are floppy in this vehicle. I tried searching other threads but they all seem to refer to an infant seat plus convertible and booster. I'm wondering what everyone has done when their babies outgrew the infant seat? Maybe got a Tundra ;)
