2015 Kia Sedona vs. 4th gen Honda Odyssey

We are starting to do some research on a minivan purchase, hoping to buy late summer/early fall. We are primarily interested in the redesigned Kia Sedona or a used Odyssey (2013 or 2014 maybe).

I know most seem to gravitate toward the Odyssey for a variety of good reasons. My third (and last) child will be RF for at least two more years. The other two are FF (one harnessed, one boostered). This will be our first minivan, so I'm not totally sure what all I should be considering when making this decision. I am mostly interested in safety, accessibility of the third row, and ease of dealing with carseats and boosters.

So, would you consider the Sedona, or is the Odyssey still going to be the way to go? (I'm not interested in the Sienna or other minivans).

There have been a few similar threads lately. I think the take home from them has been that people love the Odyssey (with certain caveats) and the new Sedona looks like it would be really nice, but no one around here has much real world experience with it.

I think the Sedona probably wins for 3rd row access, but I'm basing that only on YouTube for the Sedona. The 2014+ and 2015 Sedona have very similar safety ratings. The 2013 Odyssey has slightly lower ratings because it lacks some collision avoidance features. It's also never been rated in the small overlap test.

Other things to check out:

Test drive both. Take good notes. Take your car seats and try to install them. Try getting kids in and out of the van. Figure out what features/trim line you would really want in each one. And if you get the Sedona come back here and give us a full review!
