Question Yaris and Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible Car Seat

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Convertible Car Seat will fit rear facing in a 2 door toyota yaris hatchback? If not, do you know of any other convertible car seats that are suitable for a newborn that will fit? Thank you so much for your help!

Possibly depending on size of front driver and passenger. The My Ride takes up a little less space. I'd also take a look at the new Britax seats. Do you have someplace you can test any/all of these?

I've got a Peg in my Mazda 3 and can just drive. I kinda wish the seat recline was one click back but I can't do it. And I'm only 5'4". On the passenger side, it just really doesn't give a passenger a ton of room which is why it's staying driver's side.

Forgot to say, my parents had a Yaris sedan and they used the My Ride in it behind passenger seat. It was acceptable for a shorter person to sit as passenger. My dad couldn't drive if it was behind the driver and didn't work in the middle since both front seats were affected by it then.

Not sure if the hatch has a much different sized/shaped interior?

Thank you for the reply. I will check out the other seats you mentioned and try to find a store that will let me try a couple in my car. I'm 5'3" so hoping I can get the peg to work behind the driver seat as prefer it based on the reviews I have read. I'm not sure how the hatchback compares to the sedan in terms of room. Guess I will just have to try it out and see if it works. Thanks again!
