So I encountered a blue Baby Trend Hybrid and 2 Urbini Petal ( black and red) this week. They were in different stores but only on display. They weren't any boxes under the shelf. The Baby Trend was around $150, but the Urbini's price wasn't shown yet.

Thought I would share here since I didn't know these seats we're coming up here!

My Walmart has the urbini :) there were 2 travel systems - one black & one red & then a super nice jogging stroller too with real rubber tires! Looks like a pretty nice seat & another good option to fit newbs even tiny ones well!

No hybrid though thank goodness at my Walmart lol

My Walmart has the click connect 30 too which I thought was cool & the new onboard 22.

Yep, I wasn't happy when I saw the Hybrid! I wasn't that much impressed either by the Urbini. The chest clip is made of flimsy plastic, but the crotch buckle and harness are nice. It has really low limits of 29" and 22lbs, but allows European belt path for baseless installs. It seems to have a lot of pros AND cons!

My WM has both. I LOVE the Urbini. Love it. It's such a great budget seat with lots of excellent features including EU belt routing for baseless installs, awesome NB/infant padding, two harness adjustment loops for extended fit, IMMI buckles, small chest clip, lock-off on base, crotch buckle pad, EPS foam, AND it's light-weight. I think it's a huge step in the right direction for WM.

They took 6084027 steps back with the BT Hybrid, though. That thing is the spawn of Satan, IMO. It is so so so difficult to get in correctly.

Was in my Walmart today and they had the harmony defender, hybrid and the urbinis. The hybrid looks good so it will get lots of people buying it, even Dh was like this seat looks cool. :(
The defender looks good. I love the look of the urbinis but was disappointed we got the low limit version. Its priced well though 194 for the umbrella stroller travel system and 249 for the bigger stroller travel system.
