So I am looking for my old car seat from 1993-1997, it was a shield booster. It was off white-grayish plastic, with an over the lap shield plastic bar that was on hinges on the left side, so it would go up and down, and the lap belt would feed straight thru that shield bar. It might have been Evenflo or Graco, or an older Fisher-price model. It had a thin upholstery fabric (non removable) on it, whether solid teal green or solid purple, with a never ending pattern of crooked/angled multi-colored rectangles as the patten, on both the base and the shield. I've had this image of it in my mind for over 5 years now, it was probably donated to a rummage sale (Seattle) in 97-98. Does anyone recognize or understand the seat I'm looking for?mi just can't get it outta my head. I'm 25 and childless, but I want kids, and I will most likely go with Britax or Chicco. I'd also like to make my own car seat brand with the convertible rear facing limit 15lbs--45lbs, and forward facing 32lbs--65lbs. I hate that Britax still uses 20 as a minimum for FF, I don't think any baby under 30lbs should be FF. So who can help me find a datatbase or obscure Pinterest photo or Photobucket photo of the oldskool booster seat????
