Is he too tall for this carrier?

nm with the harness not on him, his head is even with the top of the shell. Guess that seat is out..

The first pic looks like he has a inch still before his head hits the top so he is really close but the second one looks like he has less than a inch so he is already to tall. Close call.

Look like he has 1" or close to it of growing room to me. My experience with the snugrides has been the area where the padding is visibly different usually marks the 1" above top of head area.

I'm guessing you had him in the seat just for picture purposes, but the chest clip should be up higher so that it's even with his armpits. The shoulder pads will probably slide up onto the top of his shoulders so the chest clip can come up higher, otherwise you'll need to remove them. :thumbsup:

As long as he's under the weight limit still (your seat is 20lbs is it?) then I'd be fine with continuing to use it.

ok so nevermind. LOL. I put him in it w/o buckleing it in and his head is even with the top. I guess having the harness on pushed his shoulders down. LOL.
Guess that seat is out.
