Hi there, can anyone tell me, if and when latch became a standard in the Land Rover Sport?

    Re: Land Rover Sport 2011

I'm not clear about what model exactly is the 2011 Land Rover Sport from what I'm seeing in the LATCH manual, which lists models sold in the U.S. and Canadian markets. There are listings in the LATCH manual for the Discovery Sport and the Ranger Rover Sport models, but none of those fully match up with the 2011 model year and "Sport" model name you're specifically inquiring about. FWIW, all the Land Rover models sold in the U.S. and Canadian markets that are listed in the LATCH manual have been factory equipped with 2 full sets of LATCH (lower LATCH anchors plus a top tether anchor) in the second row outboard seating positions starting with the 2002 model year, plus a top tether anchor only (no lower LATCH anchors) in the second row center position in Land Rover models equipped with an actual second row center seating position. Before introducing factory equipped sets of LATCH for the 2002 model year, 3 top tether anchors were factory equipped in Land Rover models' second rows equipped with three second row seating positions starting in either the 2000 model year or the 2001 model year depending on the specific Land Rover model.
    Regards,
    Jean
