Question how much longer till I need to put him in a booster

please tell me at least 12 months hahaaha or maybe 10 years lol (well not that long cause he would be 15) but I am in no hurry to booster him.....he turned 5 in November

Is that a Diono? Don't they still have the rule that you can use a seat even if the shoulders are over the top slots? Even without doing that, yeah, I think you have a year, at least 6 months.

I'd guess about a year. My second child took two years to outgrow our old Marathon when she had about that much room above her shoulders but my kids are big leg growers.

My 3.5 YO has this seat and I need to get him out of it. I don't like how the straps are always slipping below his shoulders, even if they allow it. But I have to see b/c we need 3 across and have no room to spare. I can jack up the headrest again I guess. Tightening did not work! He is tall, too.

He's darling! I'd guess awhile. Maybe a Defender or SecureKid would work if you need more time? If you're doing 3 across I'd make an effort to keep him harnessed as long as you can.
