Harmony Defender is now in Canada

Yay! After enviously eying up the Defender south of the border and coveting it for 3-acrosses, we now finally have the option.

Available at Walmart only in one cover currently (grey/black with yellow trim) the pink cover is apparently en route for March.

$160, with specs comparable to the US version.

Yeah! I've been told in late e December by Harmony CS that the pink cover "might be available later in the year". He then said that it would be sold online...

I hope your information is right!

I often skip over stuff about the Defender when reading other threads since it's never been an option here. Can someone give a brief summary about what makes it a great option in the combination seat world?

I love the pink cover!

Is it any easier to assemble and install than the Harmony V7 was? That thing was a pita! The harness adjuster and buckle were nice at least. It looks like the same seat but more padding and a headrest.

I will need this seat soon, since I need to puzzle 3 across for a car pool option. However, I might be able to wait for the pink one. How come it is not showing up at all on the Walmart website? When will they actually have it available?

The Defender is now available online at Walmart.ca.They give me an estimate shipping date of Feb.20. I'm not ordering now, cause I want the pink cover!

I stopped by our local Walmart a couple of days ago and they had a pallet of car seat boxes that looked like it was about to be put on shelves. I went back yesterday and got a Defender, I think I'm going to try to return our (as of yet unused) SecureKid. I love that it's more narrow and has strap covers. The only thing I'm concerned about is the short-ish harness.

Not a fan of the pink but I would love the back/red cover that they have in the US! Oh, and the manufacture date on the one I picked up yesterday was Dec. 1, 2014.

The foam on one of my seats broke so ended up needing this right away. Picked up the one at Walmart. I am actually quite impressed especially liking the fact I can just adjust the harness without uninstalling which works great for my dayhome. It takes up less room than the Nautilas in the back of my Odyssey not super skinny but not bad. My dd who will be six in June can still fit in it
