Question Straps on Clek Foonf pinching neck?

I'm wondering if others have had trouble with this or if I am doing something wrong? I went to look at convertible car seats today and love the Clek Foonf. The only problem is that every time I sat my daughter in it and tightened the straps, they seemed to pinch her neck. Have others had this problem or was I just tightening the straps too much? I obviously can't buy this seat if it always pinches her. Any help/advice is appreciated.

I just make sure the pads are in the right spot before tightening as have no real issues. If I move the pads after it's right, then it bothers dd because they rub her neck.

Maybe too tight? My 4 year old never complains and we don't even use the pads. My 2 year old is fine too.

My Fllo presumably has the same adjuster, and it's pretty easy to over-tighten, IMO. I love that it's so easy to adjust, but I have to make sure I don't overdo it.

I have a Fllo and hate it for this reason! We took the pads off which help with pinching but not rubbing. She always has marks on her neck and it is not over tightened. Any looser and we fail the pinch test. I think it's just the way she's built that causes the issue. If I leave the harness tightened and just unclip and reclip it is a little better but still tough depending on the cut of her shirt.
