Back up seat for flying

Hello to those who know me... it's been forever and a day! We're finalizing the adoption of our youngest and still foster newborns, so life is a little too crazy around here to find time to come on the way I used to in the past. It also means I'm not as up to date on the latest seats as I once used to be!

I left this to the last minute... we fly out in 10ish days and I've just decided I really don't want to lug the Peg convertible on the plane with me. I want to purchase a cheap back up seat to use on the plane and then have kicking around here if I need it for anything.

Child in question is 2.5 yrs old, 30lbs, 37" tall and will be forward facing on the plane. The seat will only be used on the plane (we're headed to DisneyWorld and use Magical Express and Bus while there), so will not need it for a vehicle at all.

Thinking an Evenflo SureRide or Maestro... but is there something better out there to consider in the cheap/budget friendly category as this seat will literally be used only a handful of times?

We also have a Guide 65 as a travel seat for my daughter (3 yrs 10 months). It does great on planes (Rear or forward facing) and is pretty easy to install in cars (only have used it rear facing there). It's very lightweight and pretty narrow.
