    Recommend a convertible seat?

Hi - I am looking for some advice.

I have a 1 year old who is 31" tall (90%+/tall) with a tall dad (so we expect this to continue). He is pushing out of his Uppababy baby car seat. I need to get a convertible seat that can stay rear facing as long as possible (for tall kid). I also want it to rate as safe as possible. I am very overwhelmed with researching this. I am not concerned with the cost. The seat will be mounted in a 2013 Mercedes ML350 --- so not the biggest SUV, but average sized.

Can anyone give me a couple recommended seats?

    Re: Recommend a convertible seat?

Hi there. We'd love to help.

There are no safety ratings. All seats pass the same stringent safety tests. So that's the easy part.

Tall seat are also easy to come by, and now there are tall and compact as well.

What is your budget? Right now is your UppaBaby in the middle or on the side, and with the lower anchors or the seatbelt?

And how heavy is your baby?
