Hello,
This isn't specifically car seat related so I apologize if it should have been placed elsewhere. I know there are some really knowledgeable people on this board so I'm wondering what tips you have.
It has long been bothering me that in our Chevy Equinox there is nothing between the cargo area and our seats. I have yet to find a very secure way of tying down strollers, diaper bags, groceries, and all sorts of items in the back to prevent them from becoming airborne in a crash. The damage even a gallon of milk could do really scares me.
The fact that our truck is a lease makes things trickier because we can't add anything permanent. Chevy sells a "security shade" but it's really tough to tell from the pictures whether this is just a cover or whether it would really hold down heavy items. I'm short and would really struggle with a roof rack if I was by myself, so we've pretty much ruled that out too.
I was just wondering if you have any suggestions.
