Well, that plan changed.

My friend's little girl is in a SR22 and we had weighed her here at home and she was 18lbs a while ago, and she had been short (5%). She had a well child check today, 6 months, and she is now 20lbs and 28", which takes her from 5% for height to 90% and 90% (approx) for weight as well.

We were going to get a Guide 65, but that has changed to a Fit4me or a Contender. Didn't expect her to get so tall, but she's got tall genes on mom's side of the family, just not mom and dad, lol. Mom and dad are both like 5'1 & 5'4", while maternal grandfather, granduncles, aunts, etc. are 6'+ for the men and 5'8"+ for the women.

I told my friend I'd help so long as she keeps little miss rearfacing to either 4 years old or she outgrows it, whichever comes first :) and she is willing, yippee!

Since we'll prolly be going 50/50 on the seat, I decided to look at the other clones as well. It will be tax time before either us or her mom has the money, but we should be able to do any of the seats, which gives mom more options for covers. I'm excited both that mom is willing to ERF and that I'll get to play with a new seat :p.

I have experience with both seats. The Guide 65 has a super narrow RF belt path. I love my Graco Fit4Me seat though, the belt paths are nice and big, level indicator is easy to read, push-on latch connectors, the no-rethread harness is awesome.

Yeah, and she likes the Lacey Fit4me cover as well, more than the others:). Which is fine :).
