Graco has allowed a thin seat protector in all their manuals in recent memory. When I spoke to them about what was appropriate, I was told no thicker than a receiving blanket or thin towel was best, so that's the guideline I use.

Thank you! The only Graco I own is a 2009 MyRide and somehow I either missed it in the manual, or, more likely, didn't see anything significant about it back in 2009 when I wasn't on FB car seat groups ;) Funny that I haven't seen anyone mention it before, though, because it seems like all day every day is "take out the seat protector" on FB LOL. I've never had a desire to use anything on my own seats, even when I didn't know better, because my seats aren't worth protecting ;) .

I think I will contact Graco also but does any know if this would be allowed under a Graco fastaction fold travel system jogger car seat? I had heard nothing was allowed so I'm a bit confused.

Welcome!
I'm pretty sure (I've never seen it NOT in a Graco manual, anyway!), that a mat is allowed under that Snugride Click Connect (the seat you have). The Brica is exceptionally bulky, however, and actually does tend to make seat installs unacceptable. There's a blog here with a graph of ratings when you scroll down that's helpful... http://carseatblog.com/21536/vehicle-seat-protectors-update-what-you-need-to-know/
Honestly? After years and years of super duper tight installs for my three kids, I find that dents in seats pop out, and food spills are easy enough to clean up. After barely ever using any seat mats, when I traded in my 11 year old van, the seats were the nicest part of the car :) (The chocolate milkshake in the carpet, however? THAT never came up, no matter how much I cleaned, lol)
