RF to top of shell or 1" rule on these seats?

I think those are 1" seats. Britax is the only one that I have heard of that is top of shell. BUT, I am not a tech, so there may very well be more.

I know the Evenflo Triumph Advance and the Scenera have the 1" rule and I'm almost positive the AOE does as well.

Going along with what the previous poster said, the Britax convertibles are the only ones I know of that allow the head to be even with the top when RF.

Thank ladies.
I just wanted to verify, because it seems I've read on here that the 1 " rule was really for the infant seats, and that the head even with the top of shell is acceptable for seats other than just the Britax seats.

Thanks again!:)

Yeah, they are all moving that direction. Evenflo invented it, and it's spreading like fungus. (Why couldn't Britax 'win', with the tops of the ears, or at least the top of the head even with?)

As for the AOE, I'd guess it would be the shell, not the headrest.

:yeahthat: The new Recaro convertibles (Como and Signo) also specify the 1" rule for RF in their manuals. It sure seems to be a growing trend, and like Jools I'm not so thrilled about it because it means turning some kiddos FF sooner if they're tall/long torsoed string bean types who haven't reached the seat's RF weight limit.
