Can anyone confirm if the coccoro car seat fits and is easy enough to install in bulkhead seats with the fixed armrest? We are flying east coast to hawaii on AA 737 and then 767 and I need to decide if choosing the bulkhead js advisable. It seems like the extra room would be nice for play space if needed. We are traveling with our 12 month old. This will be the first flying experience with the little one so just want to be as prepared as possible.

After flying with kids, I prefer to fly anywhere except bulkhead. Not only do you chance your seat not fitting between the fixed armrests (though the cocorro likely will fit, it really is slim), but you lose access to all your stuff. There is no where to stash a bag of snacks and toys- they all go in the overhead bin. Having access to that stuff is worth the lack of leg room in a regular row.

I agree. Bulkhead seems great in theory but in practice it can be a real pain.
I haven't installed a Coccoro on an aircraft but can't imagine there'd be any sort of issues with it in a regular seat. All bets are off in bulkhead, because a lot of times an arm rest needs to be moved for installation.
And Dillipop is right, flight attendants cringe when they see babies on the floor. Mostly because they know how dirty those floors can be. I did let my 16mo stand for a minute next to my leg on a recent flight, so he could stretch his legs for a moment -- and when I looked down he had disappeared! It turned out he had knelt down and crawled UNDER my seat! We were in the very last row and I had to get down there and extract him from where he was inspecting an oxygen bottle. So please, don't let your little one play on the floor. There's stuff down low that they will find, that you can't see from your seat. They tend to be happiest in their carseats anyway.

Yes it fits in the bulkhead. I have flown in numerous 767's with it. I love the bulkhead! I have always been allowed to have my bags in front of me (maybe after takeoff - but I definitely have them around me at some stage). For me not blocking anyone's recline is nice and having the extra space to maneuver is great.

I actually just flew to england with a boulevard G4 and click tight and they both fit easily in the bulkhead of a delta 767-300
ITA with this. Not at all worth it with kids. Bags shouldn't be on the floor. I love planes that are 2-x-2 configurations, With one kiddo we did the 2 sests by the window and the seat directly across the aisle so that we could get things from our carry on without anyone having to move.
I also try not to let my kiddos out of their seats unless we are going to the bathroom or breast/bottle feeding. They will make you put them back in if the fasten seat belt light is illuminated. I do potty/change them every 2-3 hours unless they are sleeping.
