Seat dismantle

Well, I had to wish my beloved original Britax Marathon goodbye. It expired last month. This was the spare for Grammys car and so very lightly used; like everything looks new.

Hubby thought he'd want the straps, buckles and other things for a project and even managed to get the adjuster strap out whole with tilt lock in tact!

I've taken apart SO many seats. I can get a FR90 apart in like 15 mins flat (bought one on our local classifieds for an absolute steal, just to take it apart). I buy them super cheap used or at thrift stores and completely dismantle them. I find it incredibly fun. I've built lots of Frankenseats. The original Radian was the only one I had significant trouble getting apart. They have weird screws.

I don't think he knows exactly but he wants the metal bar to put on his landscape trailer as a grab bar for dumping. The nylon webbing and buckles he just thinks are good quality and will use as tie downs etc.

I used an old latch strap to keep my dog from climbing all over the car. I have a few other harnesses and things around somewhere too.
