What's a good convertible for center rf in Toyota Matrix

I am looking for a convertible car seat for my 7-month-old daughter who has almost reached the 30" height limit on our infant seat. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good fit for a 2007 Toyota Matrix?

She is tall so I want a car seat with a higher height limit so it will last a long time. She is currently our only child so I want to install the car seat rf in the center position (because if I understand correctly, that's what's safest?) and ideally still have room for 2 adult passengers in the back seat if need be.

I was looking at the Diono Radian RXT because it's narrow and with the angle adjuster apparently it won't take up too much space front-to back either. Has anyone installed this seat in a Matrix?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks!!!!

You could also look at the Graco 4Ever, Britax Boulevard and Advocate ClickTight.

Just fyi, since it's a common error, you can only use the seatbelt in the middle of your Toyota. You don't have lower anchors for that position.

thepote - Thanks for the link. I had done a search but hadn't seen that thread.

wendy - thanks for the suggestions! Do you know if any of the seats you mention would be narrow enough to sit other passengers on the sides?

Rear facing they all should allow someone. They're not as narrow, but their shape is such that legs go next to the base, and the armrests of the seat act as adult armrests.

Forward facing down the line the Graco is about 2" wider than the RXT, the Britax Boulevard ClickTight 1", and the Advocate 3".

We have a Radian RF in the back of our Yaris. It fits fine with the angle adjuster. We can't get a good install with anything in the center position in that car - I'm not sure how similar the Matrix backseat is. But that would be my recommendation.
