3 across in a Nissan rogue.

My cousin's family is looking at a Nissan rogue and would like the option of putting all three kids In back. (I already bumped the rav4 and Forrester off the list).
They have a 5 yo around 45# and just barely needing the top straps on a maestro, 2 yo ff around 35# (not sure on height but she is just a touch too tall for a rf marathon by shell height), and 10mo rf around 20#.

Anybody worked in one and have any ideas for me to try?

What year Rogue? Our 2010 Rogue can do 3-across but it's a super tight fit (combination of puzzle fit Diono Radian, Combi Coccoro, and EvenFlo Triumph).

They are looking at 2010ish. The cco is probably not an option for them since they have bigger kids. Do you think a ff sureride/ff radian/rf radian would work?

Possibly. My mom has a Murano. The back seat is almost the exact same, if not identical. The middle seatbelt is what gets most people in this car. Sometimes it's tough to get a seat installed tightly there. I can't remember why though. It's been awhile since I installed a harnessed seat there. I just remember trying an Evenflo Triumph and an Evenflo Secure Kid forward facing in the middle and they don't stay tight for some reason. The lock mechanism works. Something with the belt geometry. Worth looking into. With different seats, it could be fine!

Unless the Sureride is narrower than the CCO (which we placed in the middle), then I would say no. We had a Radian, CCO, and Triumph in the back, if they were not puzzled just right, you were not getting the door closed (contact armrest).

But the sureride is puzzle-ier than the triumph. I may just have to take a "test drive" to our safety center to see if I can make it work!

Yeah...it's pretty mind blowing that you got a Triumph in a 3 across in any vehicle, short of a Suburban! LOL So, I agree that the Sureride may work b/c it may puzzle better.
