Back seat width

We had our little angel, Malory and we bought our new used car, 2010 Kia Rondo V6 EX lux. Lots of room everything works. Now we need a second car. something for mom to drive to work and we can run errands since the Rondo is bad on fuel running around town. Baby number 3 on the way...My question is back seat space, Help me please

Our 2 yr old sits in a safety 1st alpha omega elite remington, it's a little wide but it was a gift and we don't wanna get rid of it.

If I get a Diono Radian or Chicco key fit for new baby on the way..

How small of a car can I get?

Is there a comparaison somewhere about back seat to back of front seat measurement (so the RF seat isn't touching the front seats)?

And mom wants to sit with baby for the first few months

I have my 12 yr old during the summer months and at Christmas, she's pretty thin, should be ok for her to squeeze in when she's here

Thanks in advance

Matt

To clarify: you're trying to fit 2 (or 3?) kids in car seats in the back of a car, plus either mom or a 12 year old. Yes? And your priorities are fuel efficiency and fitting everyone in?

And you want to use the alpha omega in this new car? Or are you using it in the Rondo?

2 kids all the time, 2yr old and a NB, Mom would like to have room to fit for the NB's first 6 months because we want to be able to use this second car as the principal car.

a 12 year old is only a few months in the summer, we can use the Rondo is we have to.

And we were thinking of switching the seats to the new car. The Rondo would be for going to work only.

Fuel efficientcy and fitting everyone in as the Rondo is avg. 13L per 100 kms (15-18 mpg)
