The 2000-2008 Toyota Solara coupe and Solara convertible models have top tether anchors according to the LATCH manual (the Solara coupe has 3 top tether anchors, while the convertible has 2). 2003-2008 Solara convertible models have 2 top tether anchors, one for each rear outboard/side seating positions (there is no center rear seating position at all in the convertible model) with the top tether anchor located on the back of the head restraints in the convertible. The LATCH manual also notes some Solara convertible's rear head restraints have a cover that needs to be removed and stowed when using the top tether anchor.You must read your carseat and vehicle owner’s manual and understand any relevant state laws.
