I dont understand, if the turbo booster with ss says its 15.5 inches wide and the onboard 35 is 17.5 but in the car it doesn look that way, the booster takes up more room than the infant base

The width measurements are the widest point of each seat. In the case of the Turbo, that is at the armrests. With the Onboard 35, it is at the handle on the seat itself, not the base.

I found I was able to barely squeeze in an older-style Parkway SG in a spot where I couldn't even get the door shut on a Turbobooster.

I am not sure the Parkway was narrower, but it fit better. The width of the seat is not necessarily the most important factor.

Is this for your 6 year old? Are you looking for highback or backless boosters?

I use the booster with her and with another 6 y/o, I just got one of those cosco low back booster, can't remember the name, the really low one, and still wasn't able to safely do a 3 across. So I went back to my original setting, the infant and the booster are both installed outboard but when indeed to seat a third person then the problem comes again

How big are the kids?

Are they big enough for the Incognito?

If not, have you considered a Bubble Bum?

Or a Ride Safer Travel Vest?

I think the Topsider is the narrowest traditional booster (which I also think is probably the one you are talking about). Maybe a bubblebum?

I also tend to have more luck with the boosters on the outside the installed seat in the center.

I tried the booster in the center but didn't work, it's too big, the stores here don't sell the incognito but I can look online, the safe vest is a possibility, but is expensive. My DD is 6 y/o and weights 38 pounds, DD2 is 7 months old, 17 pounds, the kids I take home 2 days a week are 6 y/o weights 60 pounds, and 5 y/o weights 38 pounds. Seats are TB with SS, Radian RXT, Safety First Onboard Air 35, Scenera, Cosco low back booster

The Incognito probably isn't your best bet, then. It has a 60 lb minimum so only one child would be able to use it; and that child just barely (so it may not fit very well).

The vest can be expensive but sometimes it comes up on sale on Zulilly. I also see it for sale sometimes on the Swap board. But you'd have to choose between the large for the biggest 6 year old or the small for the other two kids...

I would try the bubble bum. My co worker (also a CPST) uses it as a car pool seat in the middle of her CRV. On the outboard she has a Graco Size4me (RF) and a Graco Nautilus (FF Harness).

If you are looking for a high back option: try putting the Infant carrier in the middle and using a Harmony Dreamtime high back booster or another option that doesn't have cup holders. That is the widest point and usually hinders 3 across installs.

We were just able to get 3 across (solid installs with seat belts) in a 04 Hyundai Santa Fe (very narrow) using a Cosco Scenera RF behind the passenger, a Safety first complete air 65 FF in the center and the Harmony Dreamtime HBB behind the Driver.

Using seat belt instead of LATCH for the infant carrier will help free up space as well
