Bean the First's service co-ordinator got a FPSVD for her 4.5 year old dd on my recommendation and she asked me to check it for her.
I hadn't played with one before, I liked it quite a bit. Very rock solid feeling seat, not quite as padded as the Marathon and the cover was very different than a traditional Marathon cover. The slots in the back of it were funny...all curved rather than straight or angled
She had two errors: the buckle and latch plate were resting on the edge of the belt path, and she had a locking clip on the lap belt on the wrong side of the seat
Boy did she get mad when I told her the locking clip was unnecessary, "What is this, I'm college educated, and I read the manual!" Poor thing was so deflated. I told her 90% of people install their seats wrong so it wasn't just her
