Anyone have a Suzuki SX4 Crossover? How does it do with car-seats? I'm looking to purchase a car in the near future and I'm browsing around. I have a TF, Pacifica and possibly will buy a Britax BLVD.

I have a 2009 SX4 crossover. It's tight back there, but the seats are flat, relatively deep, and I would say, uncomplicated. i used a snugride 22 outboard with both of my newborns, installed with a belt and locking clip. Latch wasn't tight enough for my liking and without the clip, the seat installed with the belt tended to tip after a while. I've had fantastic luck installing a Britax MA and a FR85 with latch, and the MA also installs great with a seatbelt. Suzuki doesn't allow latch borrowing. I didn't have great luck with my sunshine kids radian 80 SL either rear of FF...can't remember all the issues. Currently I have an MA RF driver side outboard and the FR85 passenger side outboard, both latch. This leaves no room in the middle for a passenger. Literally there is like 6-8" of room. Currently experimenting with alternate 3-across combinations, but it's not a critical need and I may not succeed or lose motivation. I have a rear-facing tether on the MA attached around the bolt of the driver-side seat track. I'm short, 5'2, and the only driver, so I don't need the seat far back, luckily, or it would interfere. I would not recommend this car for tall adult front row passengers, whether you have kids in the back or not. My husband, at 5'7", complains there's not a lot of room. Luckily we are little and my kids are munchkins. Good luck!
