Harmony Defender and Graco Snugride Click Connect 30

Currently, DD (3.5 years old, FF) is in a Britax Roundabout Classic and I just ordered a Harmony Defender for the sitter's car. I also got a Graco Snugride Click Connect 30 for DD2, due in February. I received the Snugride yesterday and discovered that it does not puzzle well at all with the Roundabout, and in playing with seats, I also realized DD is very close to outgrowing the Roundabout by height. I strongly prefer to have the girls side by side in the back seat with room for another passenger if at all possible. So has anyone tried putting a Defender and Snugride 30 side by side? A Defender and Roundabout? The long term goal is to pass the Roundabout to the new baby, so I'm hoping it will also fit well beside the Defender.

We live in Alaska with very limited options for buying car seats, so unfortunately I cannot go try anything out in stores first. Oh and the seats are going in a 2014 Toyota 4Runner.
