I had to bring a neighbor to school this morning with dd. They are both almost nine, law here is 8, of course dd sits in a booster in the middle row, but she 5 steps in the 3rd row. I was going to have the third row set up so both girls could ride back there without booster questions, but I didn't get around to it. You could have read my mind..."It's just a mile up a divided neighborhood street, I don't need to worry about making the neighbor sit in a booster, she doesn't with her mom" etc etc.
DD looks in the car, sees only one booster, and said, "But the third row is the only place where my butt fits all they way back and my feet are flat on the floor!" So I tell her she can get the regular booster, and the neighbor can have the Incognito, since it barely looks like anything.
Honestly, I don't think the kid cared either way, I probably could have harnessed her and she would have complied :ROTFLMAO:
But mostly I'm just proud of my dd saying in a very clear way what is important for fitting in the car safely, and for using a booster without any shame.
