How would you arrange my kids?

I have a baby due in March. At that time my kids will be as follows:

6.5 years old, (currently harnessed in a Nauti)
4.5 years old, FF harnessed in an RXT
2 years old, RF MR65
newbie will be in an infant seat, yet to be purchased.

I have an 8 passenger '09 Sienna and prefer to keep only middle and passenger side seats in use in the middle row (I'd like to remove the seat behind the driver seat for easy access to back row).

The conundrum is the lack of a tether point on the driver side third row.

I don't plan to buy a bigger seat to keep my average sized 6 year old harnessed, but I don't want to move him into a booster unless he has outgrown the harness at that point (he has about an inch worth of torso growth to go until that happens).

What do you suggest? Looking for optimum safety for each kiddo, if that's even possible. :)

I would put your 2 oldest in the back row- one on the passenger side and one in the middle. You have tether anchors in both those spots. Then the 2 rearfacers in the center row.

I've thought about that but I'm not sure if the Nauti and the RXT will sit side by side in those positions--there's also a rigid buckle stalk in the equation back there in the third row passenger side seat that might complicate matters.

I would have said the same thing, plus specifically the 6.5yo on the passenger side assuming he can buckle his own harness? Then you'd be able to hop in on the side and buckle the baby and the 4.5 yo.

Otherwise, I'd maybe put the infant seat in the 3rd row, driver's side, since the second row is open and it'll be easy to get the baby in and out. But I'd definitely attempt the first solution first and see if it works.

How much does the 4.5 year old weigh?

I think the rxt will work center but it is a tough install. As to that rigid stalk on the passenger side, I haven't had any issues installing a seat there using seatbelt.

The 4.5 year old is 38 pounds. I tried putting the Nauti in that third row passenger spot over the summer and had a heck of a time getting it tight enough with a seat belt install. Any tips?

Ideally I'd like the two oldest in the third row. Is it possible to have Toyota install a tether anchor in that third row driver side spot?

Both boys can buckle their own harnesses, but the four year old needs to be double checked.

Can I ask why you would have the kids get in on the driver's side instead of the passenger side? If you park along a curb, they would be getting out into the street.

It's easier to have no seat behind the driver because otherwise I'd have a RF convertible there and my husband needs more leg room. We live in an area where parking along the street is extremely rare but when it does happen I am hyper vigilant--they don't let themselves out of the car.
