Graco 4ever in Honda Pilot

Hi everyone! I just bought 2 Graco 4evers for my 8 mo old daughter. I'm very happy with them so far and she seems to like them. I've got in secured in our Subaru Outback very well, but I'm having one heck of a time getting it secured in our Honda Pilot. I've got the seat rear-facing on the passenger side in the 2nd row. We've got leather seats and I'm pulling the strap on the LATCH system as tight as I can but the seat still seems to slide all over the place. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this seat really tight and secured in the Pilot? Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm not familiar with this seat, as we don't have it in Canada, but are you able to get in behind it and push it into the back seat with your hips while you pull on the latch strap? Have you tried installing with the seat belt?

With leather seats, sometimes there's a lot of movement even if the seat is in quite tightly. You might want to take it to a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) to get some hands-on help with it. Do you need help finding one near you?

Threading the strap back through the belt path and pulling from inside the seat across your boost often helps get better leverage.
