Cheat sheet of wich seats for which kids?

We have a lot of nieces and a couple of nephews, plus friends' kids who ride with us. DW doesn't always put the right kid in the right seat because "I get confused, it's so much to keep track of." (In reference to each seat's requirements, best practice, versus each kid's stats). So we're thinking about making her a cheat sheet. It would list all of the kids down one side and all of the seats across the top. X in the box means she can use the seat for that child. Are we oversimplifying this? I'm trying to think of potential issues with this method. I will definitely keep it updated... That's the one drawback I can think of as kids grow. Can anyone poke holes in this plan?

Is she well-versed in which seat is which? Would it be better to use Avery labels with numbers 1-whatever and list those across the top of the sheet? Or maybe write the name of each child who can use the seat on the label and attach it to the shell on both sides so it's visible, or on the base by their feet.

Good point. They're all different brands except for the GN and turbo, but I could solve that by using "graco harness" and "graco booster" in the list. I like the idea of the numbers and labels with names too!
