Need solution to restrain large dog in minivan

We have a new (old) dog. She's about 85 pounds right now, hopefully that will decrease by 10-15 pounds. I drive a Sienna and I have 4 kids. I have an IMMI Pet Buckle we used many years back with our previous dog, but not only are we having trouble finding somewhere to attach it (plus she looks miserable in it), but I also have been reading pet harness ratings today here: http://centerforpetsafety.org/wp-con..._rev101113.pdf and the IMMI was the lowest rated of all and had catastrophic failure of the stitching in all sizes :(. So, I need a new solution.

She's too big to have her crate in the car along with 4 kids. She can ride in the rear cargo well when we don't have anything else back there, but I would love to be able to attach her on the floorboards in the back when necessary. We have the captain's chair by the door removed right now, so there are all those anchor points that the chair is usually attached to, which should be strong enough to use as anchor points. I can't find a highly rated harness that would work to attach to those, though. The best harness looks to only be intended to use with the dog sitting on the vehicle seat, and that won't work due to all the kids. I don't want her to be a giant projectile in the event of an accident.

Not sure if this would fit your dog, but it performs well in crash testing.
This is the one I've been considering, as it was the only one which passed all aspects of the crash testing, but I'm unsure if our dog will go for it. It's awfully restrictive, and I'm not sure I can use it with her on the floor rather than on the seat. I think it may be possible to use two of the 3 attachment points to attach to the floorboards, but who knows if it's any better used that way than the next best tested.

Kinda OT, but what is up with the Sleepypod website saying that most vehicles prior to 2002 can have latch anchors retrofitted using a simple kit from the manufacturer?

I'm going to my mom's today with at least 2 of the dogs. I'll try to remember to snap a pic of my set up.

My largest dog (90#) uses a EZ rider harness. Medium dog (40#) uses a Kong harness, and the small dog uses Bergen intertwined with a home made vest because he's wiggly and can get out of all the other things I have tried.

My issue is that after looking at the crash tests, I don't feel like I can go with any of these, even though several look like they would work for our vehicle situation. Given that the harness we have (IMMI Pet Buckle) completely failed despite saying it was crash tested and appearing to be heavy duty, I'm left wondering if any of them are truly crash worthy. The Bergen looks like it would be comfortable for the dog and easy to use to attach to floor board anchors, but in the large size we would need, exhibited catastrophic failure :(.

I ended up at the hospital with my MIL instead of going to my mom's and wasn't able to get pics. Sorry.
