Question Automobile Seat Covers

I just bought a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder and I plan to put my 2 yo in one of the outboard positions in the 2nd row and my youngest (due in Nov) in the center. I would like a car seat cover for the other outboard seat to protect it from my toddler climbing on the seats. Recommendations that won't interfere with a safe install of the infant seat? Thanks!

As long as you're putting it on an unoccupied seat, pretty much anything would be fine, I'd think. You'd just need to make sure it didn't overlap.

I had just asked a similar question. I need to either have cloth seats recovered in leather or have some type of nonallergenic covers for the seats.
Is that a no no under car seats?

Don't quote me because I'm still learning myself but I follow Car Seats for Littles on FB and they always say that any car seat protector is not crash tested with the seats and is therefore assumed as unsafe but reading into some of the literary cues of the blog you shared, she sounds like a CPST and took proper precautions to check for interference with the installation.

Good luck finding an answer to your question, I wish I had something to offer that would be helpful. Do you follow the Car Seats for Littles page? Maybe post your question there as well?

That's my concern with the covers that I'm seeing. I think they are wide enough that a little would either be under one side of the center seat or would at least be bunched against the side if I pulled it out. I guess I'll have to install the seat and measure what kind of room I have to work with. I literally just bought the truck ... last night. I was hoping someone else had already been there and done that and could share their wisdom. ;-)
