2015 Chevy Malibu LS??

Hi everyone. My 2008 Malibu has finally bid farewell and we have an opportunity to buy the basic (no my link, lane deviation etc happening in this model) Malibu.
I wanted to check on y'all's opinions in reference to safety issues, if any, and also how feasible 3 in the back would be.

Our two children are harnessed in Radians or Nautilus(es), ages 4 and 5, forward facing. We plan to keep them harnessed until age 8 since we travel a LOT. This is our primary vehicle. Their school is 30 minutes one way and we take trips several times a year > 8 hours.

Now the three wide question: we are not planning on adding to our family but in the event something occurred how feasible is it to have children of those ages in the backseat together? I think three seats will
fit as I have placed 2 RN and 1 Marathon in the 08. Just concerned if it's just a parenting no no somehow.

Thanks in advance.

To my knowledge the 2015 should be the same as 2013 and 2014. I think we have some 13 or 14 Malibu owners here, I'm not ready to give up my 2008 yet ;) I'm going to guess that you could fit a convertible between the two Radians though :)

I love my 08! With the amount of travel I do, just me and the kids that number makes me nervous. She has 180k miles on her.
