truefit premier 2005 Mazda MPV

We recently bought a 2005 mazda mpv especially after selling my 1999 accord ex. I love it! Using the two captains chairs and leaving the bench just incase someone else rides or pushing one of the captain's to the middle and using the middle third row are the two options that are most ideal for us with the kids.

We have two truefit premiers, one c670, and one c680. We currently have them belt fastened, rearfacing to the two middle captains chairs. I have no idea how to use latch or what the world I'd use it for. Is it any better than using the belts? If so, can someone Instruct me how?

Seatbelt installs are just fine, but it's probably a good idea to read the manual and figure out how to do a LATCH install just in case you ever have to (rental car, friend's car, etc. where seatbelt installs aren't great).

When the seats are forward-facing, you should use the top tether even if you install with seatbelts.

Thanks, I had no clue.

I have never used latch at all, and am interested in any way besides the belts to stick these seats in since I cant access the third row or move the captains chairs using the seatbelts. They attach above and beside the door in two spots each side and block any passage through.

ETA: I only have one top tether in the back, Im sure. Does this mean I cant do three across? Ive read of people doing three across or at least two in the very back here.
