Booster recs 2014 jetta

Hi everyone,

We just up-sized to two cars and I ended up getting a jetta. My wife is taking my turbos for her car, and I'm so glad because they're difficult to buckle in the jetta. I was thinking maybe one of the evenflo boosters would work better for the jetta. Any other suggestions? Looking for HBBs only.

Also, has anyone been able to get a 3 across of anything in a 2014 jetta? This isn't something I need to do at the moment, but I want to make note just in case.

I've done 3 across in a 2005 Golf with 3 Radians (2 rear facing, 1 forward facing) so I'm a Jetta is totally doable.

Is 3 across something that will be happening for sure or simply a future possibility?

How many kids do you have (ages, sizes)?

Oh and as far as HBB recommendations, I'd look at the Britax Parkway SGL as well as the Maxi-Cosi RodiFix. The RodiFix is SUPER slim and easy to buckle since it does not have arm rests. It also has rigid LATCH connectors that hold in in place so the child does not need to rebuckle the seat belt over the top when exiting the car. The big downside is the price.

The Parkway SGL also has LATCH connectors and is on the slimmer side. It is also half the price of the RodiFix.

Thank you! I've been thinking about the parkway, so I'm glad you recommended it. From what I recall the weight min is 40, so I would need something that starts at 30 or 33 for one of our skinny mini nieces. But since I want two boosters, I could buy one parkway.

3 across is not a must right now in the jetta, just something I want to keep in mind for later.

We don't have kids yet, so seats are for our nieces. They're a mix of 4, 6, 7, and 8. (The 4yo is still harnessed). No family set has more than 2 kids, so typically we transport one or two of them at once only. Weights and heights vary widely from 36ish to 62ish lbs.

Yes, it is a 40 pound minimum. I was going to suggest it because in a car where we could not buckle the turbo, the Parkway worked, so it's worth a try.

Thank you for suggesting the parkway! Got it today and love it! Haven't decided what to get for the skinny mini 6yo but she can stay harnessed in my car for now.
