Question Convertible Car Seat for 1999 Camry

Hi,

I am looking for a convertible car seat to go in my 1999 Toyota Camry. The Camry does not have LATCH, so I'm looking for something that's easy to install without LATCH. I'm also looking for a car seat that has a machine-washable cover.

The two that I like are the Diono Radian and the Chicco Nextfit. Does anyone have experience with or advice about these car seats? Recommendations of other car seats are welcome too.

What's the age/size of child that will be going in the seat?

My phone has a mind of its own. Please excuse my typonese.

The Radian is known to be a difficult install (well can be) and the Nextfit has lock off's - what that means is that you don't have to lock your seatbelt (i.e. remove all the slack and tighten it up) which generally makes for an easier install. Sometimes when you lock the seatbelt it can cause the seat to tilt slightly. But if you give us your child's weight, height, and age, we might be able to recommend a different seat to suit your needs.

My son is 11 months old, almost 30 inches tall, and 22 pounds. At this point, I don't have any budget constraints.
